A flavour driven, modern Australian menu with strong classical French accents. Our menu is based on localised seasonal produce and sustainable food primarily from the rich soils of the neighbouring Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges.
The Menu is complemented by many hard to find wines and vintages from local boutique vineyards.

With nearly 2 decades of experience, Ben has founded his own Cooking School, owned several restaurants, won numerous awards and been featured on TV and radio and in press.
As a guest chef, Ben has promoted Australian food in Shanghai, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Beijing, Laos, Bangkok, Guangzhou and across Australia.

From a small group at your home for a gourmet event, to your wedding or other grand occasion we pride ourselves on our personalised service, catering to all of your needs and requirements. We also have several private rooms available at Wild Oak from a cosy dinner for two, to a serviced conference room.
An intimate space for 2 - 6 people, the Snug is private and perfect for special occasions.
For groups of 8 - 16, the Orangery with it's glass ceiling is bright in the day and intimate at night.
For groups from 30 - 100 you can hire out part of or the entire restaurant for lunch or dinner.
We are also happy to cater your private party at home or organise special catered picnics in the local area.
The Wild Oak Cooking School is purposely designed to maximize the use of a central workspace, which allows a 'hands on' experience rather than a 'demonstration' kitchen. Having a small capacity of 8-10, students can enjoy a much higher level of contact with professional chef instructors.
With different class types and subjects to suit all levels and interests you'll easily be able to find one that is perfect for you. Come by yourself, with your partner or with friends, it's a great fun night or day out. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine as you learn and take home handy class notes so you can recreate these great dishes at home.

Tours can be exclusive to Parks and Gardens, Boutique Wineries, Cider & Ale Houses, Cheese & Chocolate, Village Shopping, Art Galleries.... or mix and match ! “Your day, your way”.
